The job of our fire scene rehabilitation team is to provide immediate on scene medical attention for firefighters and other emergency personnel. This includes re-hydration, cooling or heating to treat hyper or hypothermia, and monitoring the physical and mental well-being of emergency responders. In extreme circumstances, this resource is also serviceable as a casualty collection and treatment point.

The Upper Township Rescue Squad is the volunteer sister to the Upper Township Division of EMS. We act as secondary response to any calls for medical aid within Upper Township when the Division of EMS needs additional ambulances, assets, or manpower. The Rescue Squad also provides primary Water Rescue and Fire Scene Rehabilitation services. Currently we operate one ambulance, one combination rehab/ambulance, a rescue boat, rescue jet ski, two bicycle EMS cyclist team, and one four wheel drive support vehicle.  We never charge for our services and exist through the generosity of donations.

The Upper Township Rescue Squad and Upper Township Division of EMS are partners in protecting the residents of Upper Township. A great number of the volunteer personnel are also paid members of the Division of EMS.
